　　2012款瑞麒G5整车的长宽高分别为4717*1794*1473mm，轴距则达到了2700mm，在中级车中无出其右。它的整体外观和老款车相比并没有太多的改变，由意大利四大著名设计公司之一的博通公司精心设计，整体造型大气沉稳，线条协调流畅。

　　2012款瑞麒G5共推出2.0DVVT和2.0TCI两款动力总成，分别匹配5速手动变速器和5速手自一体变速器。其中：2.0DVVT应用了时下最为流行的双连续气门可变正时技术，直列4缸16气门双顶置凸轮轴结构，采用燃烧率控制技术，最大功率达102/5750kw/rpm，最大扭矩182/4300N.m/rpm峰值扭矩，60公里等速油耗仅为5.8L，低耗高效特征更加突出。此外，顶级车型还采用了2.0TCI-AT黄金组合，作为国内首款涡轮增压中冷发动机，2.0TCI曾经荣获中国十佳发动机荣誉称号。
